Gotta love summers in Oklahoma.  The beautiful sunshine.  The lovely light.  Oh and how about that humidity? 

I met up with the Garretsons over the weekend and by golly, it was HOT! But they were AWESOME through it and were real troopers and so patient through the lovely Oklahoma heat.


You may remember the littlest one in the family. I had the honor of doing little O's newborn shoot as well. And now he's about to turn ONE!


Seriously.  Is this kid cute or WHAT?!  I love his expression in this next image.  It's like he's saying "ENOUGH ALREADY!!" haha!




And I can't decide if I like this next one in color or black & white!

Doing CARTWHEELS!!

Calling all creative people out there!  I'm here to introduce you to a new FABULOUS online that will quickly become a daily favorite for eye-candy, ideas and inspiration!  Aren't you excited?!

Well, without further ado...Cartwheels In My Mind!  Cartwheels in an online magazine dedicated to bringing all different kinds of handmade art and the artists and business owners that have devoted themselves to this trade through photography, scrapbooking, crafting, fashion, organization, home decor, art & design & more.  Seriously, there's something for everyone.

And I'm excited - and honored - to get to be a part of it!  I'll be writing a regular photography article, Click. Click. With My Camera., over at Cartwheels as well as featuring awesome handmade designers every month. 

The Cartwheels site is updated at least three times daily with little snippets of inspiration, super inspiring articles and projects and more.  The best way to keep up with the site (and my photo blog as well!)...add it to your RSS feed or your Google Reader. summer time adventures.

So did you think I left town and totally forgot about photography for a bit?! Well kind of. But not quite! It's been a bit quiet around here because I've been traveling the world...at least part of it. I spent two weeks in June "plane, train & automobile"-ing across France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. It was a fantastic trip with my oldest niece and two friends. 4 girls. 4 countries. 14 days. Too many memories to count.

Here are a few shots from the trip. I'll be sharing some of my other favorite photos throughout the month of July so stay tuned.
